I'd like to include the
Golden Mean in the composition of the animation.
At least since the Renaissance, many artists and architects have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio—especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio—believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing. Mathematicians have studied the golden ratio because of its unique and interesting properties.
The golden mean is
1.6180339887, but I'll just use 1.618 to make it easier.
The layout of the composition is, two halves. Each half will be determined by the golden ratio, the entire animation's total will be exactly 1.618 times the lengh of the first half.
In our case, the animation is 60 seconds; so the first section will be:
60/1.618 = 37.08 seconds in lengh.
But that means... I'll have to do 37 seconds of kids talking to twinkle music.
THIRTY SEVEN SECONDS! *explode*
That's a bit long.
So.. Let's INVERT. [flip the coordinates, so the larger half is the second one]
60-37.08 = 22.92 seconds.
So, section ONE, will be about 23 seconds long.
But interestingly, we've created a virtual hole in the middle. Kinda.
We have:

B = Cut 01
C = Cut 02
D = Ending
Cut 01 and 02 are the result of first cutting the timeframe, then inverting the cut, but leaving the first cut in place.
Let's define the distance between B and C as the "Hole". Which is 14.16 seconds (the distance between A and C, take the distance between A and B).
So maybe I can use the Hole itself in the composition, using it as the "dead zone", the shift from life to death. A corridoor or passage that must be traversed in order to enter the graveyard.
